I'm a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) by the national organization and licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut to: diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications for adults with psychiatric mental health conditions.
In addition, I'm Advanced Practice Holistic Nurse-Board Certified (APHN-BC) by the American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation to:
use advanced knowledge of pharmacology, psychoneuroimmunology, nutritional supplements, herbal and homeopathic remedies, and a variety of complementary and alternative therapies in prescribing integrative therapies to enhance body-mind-spirit-environment connectedness that fosters individual wholeness.
As a nurturing healthcare professional and nurse educator, I firmly believe that:
Client-centered relationship between the healthcare provider and client is the priority in providing effective treatment. I'm devoted to taking a balanced approach to treatment, that goes beyond symptoms to educate and coach my clients along their journey to mental wellness, therefore, revitalizing their lives.
Specifically, I integrate eclectic approaches to treatment through preventive holistic therapies in conjunction with therapy, groups, medication management, energy healing, acupressure, and acudetox.

Unitary Human Being Nursing Theory
I believe that wellness and harmony are established in and between human beings and the environment if an open flow of energy is maintained.
If the pattern of the energy field is disturbed, disease, illness, or pain is manifested in the human body.
To promote homodynamic balance, the pattern of the energy needs to be redirected. Thus, it is significant to review the conflicts and changes each person undergoes in their life span.
Next releasing blocked energy with a variety of integrative interventions promotes the movement of energy to restore balance in the unitary human beings.
